About the Chef

Owner and executive chef Paul Lewis is the culinary mastermind behind Southern Fusion Dining. Inspired by his love of Southern fusion food, the restaurant’s menu fuses masterful Southern dishes with distinctive flavors that indulge all the senses. In turn, guests enjoy a memorable dining experience, whether they’re visiting for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner (available on Friday night only).

Chef Paul, formerly of the highly acclaimed Pecan Restaurant in College Park, GA, has been featured on the Food Network and Atlanta Eats, as well as in numerous culinary magazines. He graduated from the Culinary Arts program at the Art Institute of Atlanta, and in the years leading up to opening Southern Fusion Dining, Chef Paul worked at the Sheraton hotel, Coca-Cola, Morehouse School of Medicine and Alabama State University.

What’s for Breakfast

Available Wednesday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and Saturday, from 7:30 to 12:40 p.m., Southern Fusion Dining serves breakfast that’s sure to hit the spot. Get the Southern Fusion Breakfast, featuring three eggs, cheese, sautéed onions, mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, pepper jack grits, country potatoes, bacon, and toast. Or opt for a Southern staple, like the Sausage Gravy and Biscuits or Southern Chicken & Belgian Waffle.

Up for something out of the ordinary? Southern Fusion features crepes, both sweet and savory, as well as frittatas. Or try the Blackened Shrimp & Grits, which features five tiger prawn shrimp served over pepper jack grits with a Cajun crème and Creole sauce. Southern Fusion Dining also offers an à la carte menu consisting of eggs, pancakes, French toast, Belgium waffles, hash browns, grits, country potatoes and more.

What’s for Lunch

Guests can start their lunch off with a delicious appetizer, such as the Collard Greens Egg Rolls or Seafood Beggars. Then, move onto a tantalizing entrée, like Catfish. The filet is lightly fried in cornmeal, served over pepper jack grits and comes with a lemon dill aioli sauce. In the mood for a sandwich? Select the Open Fusion Sandwich, which lets guests choose between a smoked brisket with BBQ sauce or grilled chicken with a red pepper aioli sauce. Another lunchtime staple is the Southern Dirty Chip. This dish consists of potato chips with a choice of pulled pork or grilled chicken. Lunch at Southern Fusion Dining starts at 11:00 a.m.

Finish the meal with vanilla ice cream or a specialty volcano cake – choose from red velvet, chocolate or strawberry. Southern Fusion Dining also offers a choice of three mouthwatering Southern pies, including Bourbon Nut Pie, Sweet Potato or Peach Cobbler.
