Village Park Ellenwood

Opened in March 2017, the Village Park Elleenwood comprises 34 acres and is equipped with an event lawn, a splash pad for kids, paved walking trails and many more amenities. This destination park is located at 750 Fairview Road, Ellenwood, GA 30294 – just about 30 minutes south of Downtown Atlanta and within 15 minutes of downtown Stockbridge. Modern Park Amenities

Whether you’re staying in Henry County on a family vacation or taking a daytrip from Atlanta, the Village Park at North Henry provides many opportunities for exercise, and it’s also a great spot to lay down a blanket and have a picnic with your family. A new playground and outdoor fitness circuit let kids and adults alike work in some exercise before cooling off in the interactive fountain. The park is also home to two multipurpose sports fields named for local families, Bellamy and Bowden, a community building, a 1.1-mile paved walking/jogging track and an event lawn.

The Village Park at North Henry features three large pavilions that are perfect for family reunions and family gatherings both big and small, and the entire park is handicap accessible. As a matter of public health and safety, domesticated animals, including cats and dogs, are not allowed in the park without written permission of the county.
