Family-Friendly Activities for All Ages in McDonough, GA

Open seven days a week, 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., Alexander Park features four lighted softball fields, a concession stand, an amphitheatre, parking and public restrooms. Have a family picnic in one of the two picnic pavilions, or take your little ones to explore the playground area. Completed in July 2016, the Alexander Park Trail connects behind the park with Jonesboro Road. The current trail system offers plenty of room for walking and jogging, allowing visitors to get a little exercise while taking in the southern charm. Additional trails and more open green space, as well as an art and education center and gardens, are also in the works for Alexander Park.
