Located in Hampton, GA, the EchoPark Speedway (formerly Atlanta Motor Speedway) offers year-round fun for avid motorsport fans. Situated on approximately 850 acres, the EchoPark Speedway is at the center of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series world once a year. When not hosting NASCAR races, the track holds other special events, including the Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama, the Georgia State Fair, the Atlanta Air Show, and more. Track tours are also available, offering three laps around the track in the Speedway van and a behind-the-scenes look at Petty Garden, the garages, Victory Lane and other points of interest.

Track History

The Atlanta Motor Speedway is the site of Richard Petty’s final race and Jeff Gordon’s first race – both events occurring during the same event in 1992. Through the years, some of NASCAR’s biggest names have launched their careers on Atlanta Motor Speedway’s track, which was constructed between 1959 and 1960 and reconfigured in 1997. Joey Logano, David Ragan and brothers, Austin and Ty Dillon, can all trace their roots back to Atlanta Motor Speedway. During its long history, this racetrack has even seen the familial torch passed from NASCAR Hall of Famer and Georgia Native, Bill Elliott, to his son, Chase, who now finds himself behind the wheel of the No. 24 made famous by Jeff Gordon.

In 2025, Atlanta Motor Speedway made a multi-million dollar deal with EchoPark Automotive and Sportsway Motorsports to change their name to EchoPark Speedway.
