With over 1500 animals calling Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary home, you and your family will definitely want to stop and observe the habitats during a free self-guided tour Tuesdays through Saturdays 12-3 p.m.
3. Helicopter Rides at Army Aviation Heritage Foundation
From month-to-month the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation designates a day to offering the public paid flights in Vietnam era helicopters housed in the organization’s Hampton, GA hangar. Choose between a flight in the Huey helicopter or the Cobra helicopter. If you’d rather keep both feet on the ground, you can take a free tour of the hangar to learn about the aircraft and even climb into the cockpit.
