If you enjoy the outdoors, beautiful sunsets, and fireworks then the Fireworks Hike is just for you. Contact Panola Mountain State Park at (770) 389-7801 to reserve a spot for hikers ages 8 and older. $15/person.
2. Fr8Auctions Fireworks Extravaganza
July 4, 2023 at 6pm – 10:30pm
The Atlanta Motor Speedway will host a FREE fireworks show at the speedway in Hampton, GA on July 4, 2023. The exciting 4th of July event is a can’t miss event that will serve as the opening ceremony of a multiple entertainment experiences during the week before the Quaker State 400 presented by Walmart.

(Color 5k) & Kickball
July 2, 9:30 a.m. -2 p.m.
Kick off a day full of patriotic fun with the Firecracker 5K. Tackle the course and be showered with red and blue powder as you run. Refuel during the cookout and enjoy the kickball tournament. Advance registration required for the 5K and the kickball tournament.

5. A Fun-Filled Festival
July 4, 5:30
A throwback concert, hot dog eating contest, giveaways, fireworks and more are just a few of the things you and your loved ones will enjoy during Community Freedom Fest 2022 hosted by Community Bible Church. Admission to the event is free.
6. Fourth of July on the Farm
Monday – Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Sunday 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Owned by the Carter family since 1938, Southern Belle Farm was selected as one of the 10 Great Pick-Your-Own Farms in the US by USA Today. That’s an exciting way to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday. Stop by the farm on Saturday to stock-up in the market full of products ranging from fresh veggies and fruit to jams and jellies and fresh-baked desserts. Try the homemade peach ice cream or pair blueberry cobbler with a combination of homemade strawberry and vanilla ice cream for a patriotic dessert selection. Don’t forget to stop by the petting zoo for even more fun with the kids! (Southern Belle Farm will be closed on Sunday, July 4th).

A conversation with a veteran has the ability to place holidays such as the Fourth of July into perspective. A staff of veterans volunteers their time to Heritage Park Veterans Museum, leading tours and sharing stories of the servicemen and women featured in the museum along with the many pieces on the display.
