From traditional parades and fireworks to unique local experiences, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Hot Summer Fest at EchoPark Speedway

Kick off the celebration a day early with the annual Hot Summer Fest at EchoPark Speedway on Wednesday, July 3. This free community event runs from 5 PM to 10 PM and features a full-throttle flyover, pit road pickleball, a splash bash, a kids’ fun zone, and more. The night concludes with a spectacular fireworks show you won’t want to miss.

Stockbridge’s Fourth of July Extravaganza

Join the City of Stockbridge for their Free 2025 Fourth of July Extravaganza on Friday, July 4 at the VyStar Amphitheater at The Bridge. Gates open at 5 PM, and tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Enjoy live music, food trucks, local vendors, and an unforgettable fireworks display beginning at 7 PM. Bring a friend—or two—and get ready for a celebration that will be talked about for years to come!

Eats & Beats in Hampton

Although not exclusive to Independence Day, Eats & Beats is a festive monthly event worth exploring during the holiday weekend. Held on the first Friday of each month from May to October, this event celebrates music, art, and community. Walk the historic streets of Hampton while enjoying live music, art demonstrations, and delicious food from a variety of local vendors.

Fireworks Hike at Panola Mountain State Park

Take your celebration to new heights with the Fireworks Hike at Panola Mountain State Park in Stockbridge. Hikers will enjoy sweeping views of Stone Mountain and Atlanta’s fireworks from atop the mountain, along with sunset views and s’mores by the campfire. This guided hike is ideal for nature lovers ages 8 and older. The price is $25, and registration is required—call the park at (770) 389-7801 to secure your spot.

Visit Heritage Park Veterans Museum

For a more reflective experience, visit the Heritage Park Veterans Museum. Led by a dedicated staff of veteran volunteers, the museum offers guided tours and stories that bring the history of our service members to life. A visit here provides valuable perspective and meaning to the holiday.

Fourth of July Sale at Tanger Outlets
