Papa John’s Fireworks Extravaganza – July 1
Kick off the holiday weekend in a grand fashion at the Papa John’s Pizza Fireworks Extravaganza on July 1 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Families can enjoy an affordable fireworks show.
Admission: $8 for adults; Kids 5 & under Free
3rd of July Celebration – July 3
The 3rd of July Celebration combines the four “F’s” of July 4th – food, family, fun and fireworks. Get to Richard Craig Park early to stake your claim to a prime tailgate location and let the kids play on the inflatables. Enjoy live music, visit, and then sit back and enjoy the fireworks show as the sun goes down.
Admission: $10/car
4th of July Fireworks Hike – July 4
For those who enjoy the beauty of fireworks, but would prefer to appreciate them at a distance, Panola Mountain State Park offers a more intimate option. Hike to the top of Panola Mountain for a panoramic view of Stone Mountain and Atlanta’s firework displays. The fireworks aren’t even the best part! A campfire and s’mores are your reward for the roundtrip hike! There are only 75 spots on this unique hike so book early.
Admission: $15/person and a $5 parking fee.
