KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

• Trail options include approximately 1.3 miles, 0.4-mile round trip, and a short 0.095-mile nature walk.
• Wear a properly fitted personal flotation device (PFD) whenever you’re on the water.
• Paddling with a partner is recommended, and it’s always a good idea to share your float plan before launching.
• Swimming in the South River is not advised.
• Pets are welcome but must remain on a leash no longer than six feet.
• Covered pavilions are available to rent for gatherings.
• Bring plenty of water, a whistle, a first aid kit, and a communication device if you’re planning to paddle.
