Chase Maddox Park
As Locust Grove’s largest park, Chase Maddox Park offers a welcoming space for recreation, relaxation, and community gatherings. Conveniently located on Tanger Boulevard with easy pedestrian access from nearby neighborhoods, the park is a popular destination for walking, playing, and spending time outdoors.
The park is named in honor of Locust Grove Police Officer Chase Maddox, who was killed in the line of duty in 2018. His dedication to serving the community is remembered through this vibrant public space, where residents and visitors alike can gather, stay active, and enjoy everything the park has to offer.
