In 2017, Maria was chosen to manage and develop the Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs Hispanic initiative as the Director of Hispanic Strategies and Lending.
She has dedicated the last 9 years of her life educating and supporting women and minority business owners through her different leadership roles at Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs “ACE” and LiftFund. Her mission is to build tools that prevent predatory lending in minority communities.
