- 57% of employees say they believe their companies should improve diversity among the internal workforce.
- Nearly one fourth of employees shared they have experienced discrimination at their current place of work.
- 43% of companies with diverse boards noticed higher profits. Not only is it beneficial to have diverse employees and management, but companies with diverse boards also noticed significantly higher profits.
- Diverse companies enjoy 2.3 times higher cash flow per employee. One study found that over a three-year period, companies with a diverse set of employees notice a significant increase in cash flow, not just overall, but among individual contributors at the company.
What is Hospitality for All: A discussion on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion?
The Culture of Customer Service: Hospitality for All is a five-part online 30–45-minute training course. Each training module provides practical solutions that each person can use in creating a more hospitable experience for guests. At the end of each lecture, participants will be asked to complete a short quiz. A passing grade 80% or higher must be achieved on each quiz to receive a certificate of course completion. Each participant will have six weeks to complete the course. A dinner discussion with classmates and graduation will be at the end of the six weeks. The class is available to the first 30 individuals who register on a first come, first-served basis. The class is available in English, Spanish or Captioned.
