Located in McDonough, Southern Belle Farm offers U-pick or pre-picked strawberries, peaches, and blueberries, plus plenty of barn-based fun for the whole family. Open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., with the last U-pick entry at 4 p.m., it’s the perfect place for fresh fruit, sweet treats, and outdoor memories.
Panola Mountain State Park in Stockbridge invites guests to enjoy archery, guided hikes, bouldering, and more. This preserved natural haven is open daily from 7 a.m. to sunset with a $5 parking fee.
In Locust Grove, Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary, a nonprofit caring for exotic, wildlife, and domestic livestock, welcomes visitors Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (last ticket sold at 3 p.m.). Take a tour and learn about the animals’ stories of rescue and care.
