Beginning in 2019, Visit Henry County, GA gathered a group of artists and art-related business owners to develop ways of enhancing the visitor experience through the facilitation of public art. By creating public art, visitors are shown a place where art is appreciated, communities are celebrated and a vibrant group of artists live and work in Henry County. The following goals define the work of the Visit Henry County, GA Arts Consortium:

• To build relationships between arts community and Henry County businesses and local governments and build passion and love for Henry County through art -inspiring a guest to return to the area
• To nurture & promote the local arts community thru public art initiatives
• To develop & promote a network of local artists committed to public art
• To support organic community art initiatives
• To build community understanding of the link between public art, quality of life and visitor perceptions

The Arts Consortium serves the cities of Stockbridge, Hampton and Locust Grove & unincorporated Henry County.
