Visit Henry County, GA invites local artists to apply to the Public Artist Consortium Artist Registry. The Artist Consortium will use the Artist Registry for soliciting public art commissions and projects supporting public arts initiatives. The Visit Henry County, GA Artist Consortium will present the artist registry to project managers and communities for consideration in public art projects. Artists accepted to the registry will be considered for site-specific commissions, artist/architect collaborations, design service and artist/community collaborations. Placement in this registry does not guarantee participation in projects. It also does not exclude artists from submitting for other public art projects offered throughout Henry County.
Who is eligible to apply?
All artists residing and/or work in Henry County, GA who have previous public art experience and/or interest in site-specific commissions.
How will applications be reviewed?
Submission of potential registrants will be reviewed by committee members of the Artist Consortium and/or its designees. The committee will review the application material and select appropriate artists for the registry. Artists will be notified by email if they are accepted to the Visit Henry County, GA Public Art Registry Database. Accepted artist names will become a part of the Public Artist Registry Database and will remain there for two years.
