Come meet nature conservancies and learn about the research they do all across Georgia. Try out a new hobby like tree climbing, geocaching, disc golf, and fishing. This event is free and open to the public, but all vehicles must pay the $5 ParkPass fee to enter any Georgia State Park. Call the Nature Center at 770-389-7801 for more details.
Up to 22 partners will have tables & booths setup around the Alexander Lake area where guests are encouraged to explore and learn more about the work they do for the community and area. Such partners are: Georgia Forestry Commission, GO Fish Education Center, Georgia Public Broadcasting, AWARE, Henry County Public Library System, Bee City USA, Monarchs Across Georgia, the Southeastern Climbers Coalition, Friends of Panola, and more. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in Panola’s recreational tree-climbing program at no-charge.
