Locust Grove Day is the oldest of the Henry County Festivals, with its start in 1956! Originally called Fire Engine Day, the first celebration consisted of a street dance, barbeque chicken, and beer sales to benefit our then volunteer fire department.
Join in the celebration of our town and its people with Locust Grove Day! The day starts with a parade through downtown at 10am, followed by the festival at City Hall from 10am-2pm with arts & crafts, food, live music from Trombone Love, free entertainment, and activities for the whole family. End the day at Claude Gray Park where you can dance the evening away at the Street Dance with live music and the grand finale fireworks show! FREE FAMILY FUN!
