The Stockbridge Main Street Program enthusiastically extends an invitation for you to save the date and plan to attend the 2019 Stockbridge Main Street Meet and Greet on Thursday, October 3rd!
This annual event is open to the public and provides the community with an overview of Main Street programming along with an update on downtown happenings. This year the event will be held at the Ted Strickland Community Center (130 MLK, Sr. Heritage Trail). In addition to our regular update meeting, we will also be featuring local artists in an outdoor “Pop-Up” street gallery that will be located along MLK, Sr. Heritage Trail in the downtown district! Entertainment will be provided by Henry for Music — a henry county-based youth ensemble.
A Pop-up Gallery Preview and Lemonade Sip will start at 5:00 p.m. with the update meeting starting at 6:00 p.m. The art show will then officially open after the meeting (approximately 6:45 p.m.) and will continue until 9:00 p.m.
Main Street is hosting this show to increase our engagement with local artists and reinforce our vision of creating a vibrant arts and cultural district in Stockbridge’s historic downtown area. A reception will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. inside the BarnBeautiful gallery space (108 MLK, Sr. Heritage Trail / www.barnbeautiful.com) for all to enjoy.
