Laura Luker is a seasoned Public Relations & Marketing professional and a proud graduate of the University of Georgia. Since 2008, she has served as the Director of Tourism for Visit Henry County, GA, where she leads the award-winning Henry County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB). Under her leadership, the CVB has successfully grown the region’s tourism profile, offering engaging experiences for visitors from around the country. Before taking the helm at the CVB, Laura honed her skills in event planning and marketing through roles such as Marketing Director for an environmental consulting firm and an internship at Macon’s renowned International Cherry Blossom Festival. These diverse experiences fueled her passion for creative storytelling—a passion she now channels into sharing Henry County’s unique story with the world. A strong advocate for the power of narrative, Laura thrives on finding innovative ways to connect people with the heart of a place, turning every visit into a memorable experience.
