BIOGRAPHY:
I grew up on the back pasture of my grandparents’ farm in Stockbridge, GA. After four schools for undergrad, I finished at the University of Georgia with a degree in Advertising. I spent six months in Europe, then enrolled at Creative Circus for art direction.
A year into the program, I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. Shortly after, I transferred to Portfolio Center for design. Currently I live on the land where I grew up. My creativity is inspired by the life outside my door and the world inside me. I‘ve work as a freelance graphic designer for the last 15 years.
In 2020 I found my love of genealogy. It is more than the research and discoveries that I find intriguing. Taking what I’ve learned and creating heirloom pieces that tells the family story is what I find most fulfilling.
Using my creativity to give back is a true passion of mine. Starting in 2015 I began teaching art at Haven House (a domestic abuse shelter). I joined Haven House’s board of directors in 2024. Not long after the Russian Invasion into Ukraine in 2022, I began fundraising for a couple in Kharkiv, Ukraine to help them get through the war.
For me, creativity is more than just a hobby, its a way of life.
