With all the demands of the school year, kids deserve a break—and so do parents!
That’s why a number of local partners and organizations have come together to host a wide range of summer camps that will keep kids engaged and learning all summer long.
Explore the following Henry County summer camp programs that will introduce your child to an array of topics, from science, to nature, to performing arts. A variety of entertaining and educational enrichment opportunities await your child this summer.
Family Support Circle Youth Enrichment Program Summer Day Camp
Family Support Circle offers a six week Youth Enrichment Program. This camp focuses on S.T.E.M activities for students in grades 2nd–8th.
Children are able to enjoy activities ranging from mental to physical, individual to cooperative, self-elected to designated as well as small group to whole group. Activities start June 4 and will include Zero Robotics program for middle schoolers.

Fortson 4-H Center: Summer Cloverleaf and Junior Camp
Fortson 4-H’s Community Camp in Hampton, GA offers an awesome overnight camping experience for ages 9-13 and 14 -17. Campers can expect opportunities for swimming, archery, canoeing, zip lining, and camp fires.

Panola Mountain State Park Junior Ranger Camp & Outdoor Adventure Camp
Does your child love to explore the outdoors? Tired of the same old summer camp? Looking for some adventure this summer? Panola Mountain State Park offers not one, but two amazing outdoor summer camps to keep your nature lover engaged.
Junior Ranger Camp
Take summer to new heights! Learn about the beauty and wonders of nature during this 5-day camp. Activities will include hiking, nature crafts, reptiles, games, and more!

Visual Arts Summer Camp
Does your child enjoy creating works of art? Are you looking for a fun, local, and affordable camp opportunity? This is the perfect camp for those campers interested in painting, printing, tie dye, 3D art and more.

Henry County Parks & Recreation
The Henry County Parks and Recreation Department offers Day Camps and Specialty Camps all summer long. Camp activities include STEAM, music, sports, field trips, and other creative means of expression and recreation. Camp is open to ages 5-12.

Starlite Family Fun Center of McDonough
Camp Starlite is a guaranteed fun time for your child this summer! This all-inclusive camp is perfect for ages 5-12 and includes lunch and an afternoon snack. Your child will be fully supervised while enjoying the center’s awesome attractions and activities, including skating, laser tag, indoor playground, STEM/STEAM activities, games, crafts, and movies—and when weather permits, a bounce house and giant water slide!

Drip-Thru Coffee Summer Reading Program
Drip-Thru Coffee has returned with its 7th Annual Summer Reading Program for children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Drip-Thru believes reading is “FUNdamental” and should be encouraged over summer breaks. Students in Grades K-8 are invited to read at least 10 books by August 31st.
Parents/Guardians can register their child(ren) at the store via their Customer Loyalty Account or email summer_reading@dripthrucoffee.com. Once the log is completed, emailed and reviewed by staff, the student will receive a FREE 12oz. fruit smoothie!
