1. Eligibility
The 2026 Henry Holiday Countdown Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the forty-nine (49) eligible United States, excluding Rhode Island, and the District of Columbia who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry. Residents of U.S. territories and possessions are not eligible. Employees of the Henry County Convention and Visitors Bureau (“CVB”), the Henry County Chamber of Commerce (“HCCC”), and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses), and persons living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win. Participants must satisfy all eligibility requirements both at the time of entry and at the time a prize is awarded. No purchase, payment, donation, visit to a business or attraction, or other monetary consideration is necessary to enter or win.
2. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on October 8, 2026 and ends on December 29, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (the “Sweepstakes Period”). The Sweepstakes consists of twelve (12) separate weekly entry periods. A new weekly Sweepstakes question will be posted each Thursday beginning October 8, 2026, through December 24, 2026. Unless otherwise stated in the applicable weekly post, each weekly entry period begins when that week’s post is published and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on the following Tuesday. The Sponsor’s computer or other designated timekeeping device shall be the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.
3. How to Enter
During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible participants may enter by answering the weekly question(s) on Visit Henry County, Georgia’s Facebook page and Instagram page. New questions will be posted every Thursday from October 8, 2026 until December 29, 2026. Participants will have from the time the post is made each Thursday, until 11:59 PM (ET) the following Tuesday to answer the question for that week.
Only entries made during the weekly contest period will be entered in the the drawing for that week’s prize(s). The question, the items included in the prize, and the rules will be posted each week and are detailed below. No substitutions will be made.
Limit: One (1) entry per person, per week. Multiple comments on a single posts will not result in additional entries, nor will entering on multiple social media platforms. Business and organization social media accounts are not eligible to win, only individuals. In order to be eligible, the account entering must be following @visithenrycoga on Instagram or Visit Henry County, GA on Facebook (depending on the platform used for entry). Participants are only eligible to win once during the 12 -week sweepstakes period. Once an individual has won, they will be ineligible to win another week during the 12-week Henry Holiday Countdown campaign. All entrants who participated over the 12 week period will be included in a final drawing for the 2026 Send-Off sweepstakes announced on December 31, 2026.
Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE): To enter without commenting on Facebook or Instagram, email Nuthaniel@VisitHenryCountyGeorgia.com with the subject “AMOE – Henry Holiday Countdown.” The email must contain the name of the person entering the sweepstakes and the specific question/post for which they are responding/entering. Participants who enter via an AMOE do not have to follow Visit Henry on Facebook or Instagram.
Emailed entries must be received no later than 11:59 PM (ET) the Tuesday following the date the desired sweepstakes was posted. Limit one (1) email entry per person, per week.
4. Prizes / Odds
One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received each week. There will be twelve (12) weeks in the Sweepstakes, with one (1) prize/prize package offered each week. One final grand prize will be awarded on December 31, 2026 to one (1) winner drawn at random from all preceding weeks’ entries.
Each winner will receive a prize package as detailed in the Sweepstakes Schedule below. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Gift cards, gift certificates, admissions, accommodations, experiences, and other prizes may be subject to terms, conditions, availability, expiration dates, blackout dates, reservations, waivers, age restrictions, or other requirements imposed by the prize provider. Such restrictions will be disclosed when known and applicable. Unless specifically stated as part of a prize package, transportation, meals, gratuities, parking, incidental expenses, taxes, and other costs associated with accepting or using a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

2026 Send-Off – December 31, 2026
The 2026 Send-Off winner will be randomly selected on or about December 31, 2026, from all eligible Final Drawing entries accumulated during Weeks 1–12 and will be contacted using the contact method associated with an eligible entry. Each valid weekly entry received during Weeks 1 through 12 will automatically constitute one (1) entry into the Final Drawing. Participants may earn a maximum of one (1) Final Drawing entry per weekly entry period, for a maximum of twelve (12) Final Drawing entries. Therefore, an eligible participant who submits a valid entry during each of the twelve weekly entry periods will receive twelve (12) entries into the Final Drawing. No separate entry is required for the Final Drawing. A Weekly Prize winner is not eligible to win another Weekly Prize but remains eligible for the Final Drawing.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received each week.
5. Winner Selection & Notification
Winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted by the Sponsor on the Wednesday following the close of that week’s contest period at 11:59 PM ET the night before. Winners will be announced via social media by commenting or responding to the original response/comment and in the body of the original post, modified to include the name of that week’s winner. Winners will be contacted via direct message to provide the Sponsor their information in order to receive the prize. If a winner is selected who entered via an alternative method of entry, then that winner will be notified via the email address they used to enter.
The winner of the final “Send-off to 2026” package will be messaged via the social media platform they entered from as well as tagged in the post on December 31, 2026 announcing the winner. If a winner is selected who entered via an alternative method of entry, then that winner will be notified via the email address they used to enter.
If a potential winner during any week cannot be contacted, fails to respond within 48 hours of notification, or is found to be ineligible, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
6. Participation Conditions
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these rules or engages in fraudulent or disruptive behavior.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:
- Violates these Official Rules;
- Attempts to obtain more entries than permitted;
- Uses fraudulent, automated, deceptive, abusive, or disruptive methods;
- Interferes with the operation of the Sweepstakes; or
- Engages in conduct intended to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes.
Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to suspend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failure, unauthorized intervention, force majeure, or another circumstance beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control materially affects the integrity or proper administration of the Sweepstakes. Winners are solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes associated with acceptance or use of a prize. If required by law, winners may be issued an IRS Form 1099 and may be required to complete and return a Form W-9 or other tax documentation.
7. Release and Limitations of Liability
By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, the Henry County Chamber of Commerce, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injury, death, property damage, or claims based on defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of intellectual property rights.
8. Publicity
Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winner’s consent to Sponsor’s use of winner’s name, likeness, and city/state for promotional purposes without further payment or consideration.
9. Data / Privacy
Information submitted by entrants will be used as reasonably necessary to administer the Sweepstakes, verify eligibility, contact potential winners, award prizes, maintain required records, and comply with applicable law. Entry in the Sweepstakes does not require an entrant to subscribe to Visit Henry County marketing communications. If entrants are offered an opportunity to subscribe to Visit Henry County newsletters, promotional emails, or other marketing communications, such subscription will be optional and separate from Sweepstakes entry. Declining marketing communications will not affect an entrant’s eligibility or chances of winning.
10. Winner List
A list of all winners will be posted to VisitHenryCountyGeorgia.com/blog. The list will be updated each week throughout the contest. Sponsor may also announce confirmed winners through Visit Henry County’s social media channels.
11. Social Media Platform Disclaimer
This Sweepstakes is administered by the Sponsor and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any other social media platform through which the Sweepstakes may be promoted. By entering through Facebook or Instagram, entrants acknowledge that they are providing their information to the Sponsor and not to Facebook, Instagram, or Meta Platforms, Inc.
Entrants agree that Facebook, Instagram, and Meta Platforms, Inc. have no responsibility or liability for the administration of the Sweepstakes or the awarding of prizes.
