After spending time studying abroad in Europe and pursuing education at both Creative Circus and Portfolio Center, Mia built a successful 15-year career as a freelance graphic designer. Her creativity is shaped by the world around her as well as her own personal journey, including her experience living with Bipolar Disorder.

In 2020, Mia discovered a passion for genealogy, combining historical research with artistry to create meaningful heirloom pieces that preserve and tell family stories for future generations.

Beyond her artistic work, Mia is passionate about using creativity to support and uplift others. Since 2015, she has taught art at Haven House, a domestic abuse shelter, and later joined the organization’s board of directors in 2024. Following the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, she also began fundraising efforts to support a couple living in Kharkiv during the war.

For Mia, creativity is more than an artistic outlet — it is a way of life.
