Herly Terant developed a passion for the visual arts at an early age, participating in her first collective art exhibition at a major fine arts museum when she was just six years old. Her artistic talent continued to grow throughout childhood, leading to opportunities to create murals and posters for her elementary school.
As a young adult, Herly trained under a master artist, where she developed a strong preference for palette knife painting — a technique that continues to influence her artistic style today. She later pursued formal studies in fine arts at Miami Dade College, exploring a wide range of artistic disciplines including sculpture, printmaking, and painting.
In addition to her work as a commissioned portrait artist, Herly has extensive professional experience in art conservation, restoration, and graphic design, having worked in the design field for more than 23 years. Her diverse artistic background contributes to the depth, texture, and craftsmanship reflected throughout her work.
