Elaine Ford is a self-taught Georgia artist whose work is inspired by a lifelong passion for creativity and expression. A retired educator with 31 years of experience teaching kindergarten and gifted students, Elaine relocated to McDonough with her husband Benny in 2011 and now dedicates much of her time to painting, family, and community.
Elaine’s primary artistic focus is impressionistic oil painting using a palette knife, though she also enjoys exploring a variety of other artistic mediums. Her work is driven by a desire to create pieces that evoke emotion, connection, and personal interpretation. Through color, texture, and movement, Elaine strives to give each painting its own voice and hopes viewers find inspiration and meaning within her artwork.
