Opened on Veterans Day, November 11, 2010, the Heritage Park Veterans Museum houses a large collection of artifacts, uniforms and vehicles dating from WWI to present. Embark On a Free Guided Tour

Learn, pay respect and heal at the Heritage Park Veterans Museum. Open Monday – Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., the museum offers free guided tours that run about 1.5 hours. As a veteran, your tour guide can offer a firsthand look into the life of the American soldier that go behind the history of the items but include stories about the owners of the items on display. The tour also allows visitors to learn more about the array of uniforms, military vehicles, medals, dog tags and other artifacts on display. In addition to a vast collection of military items, the museum features a Henry County Fallen Hero area and a lasting display of two Henry County Medal of Honor recipients.

Before leaving, make sure to check out Ship’s Store, which carries hats, T-shirts, travel mugs and other merchandise. As the Heritage Park Veterans Museum is funded by the support of sponsors and generous donations, all proceeds from the store benefit the museum and its operations.
