Slow down this July 4th and join a ranger for a leisurely stroll to the top of Panola Mountain. As the sun sets we will enjoy a panoramic view of Stone Mountain and Atlanta’s Independence Day Celebrations from a distance. Bring water, bug spray, and a flashlight for the walk back down the mountain to a waiting campfire and s’mores.
Must register in advance. Ages 8 and up. In effort to provide the most exciting panoramic view, the date of this event is subject to change based on the fireworks displays of the surrounding area. Reservations are nonrefundable. Participants must give at least 24 hours notice if they need to reschedule. Transfer credits will only be applied to a similar program. This is a rain or shine event! In the event of severe weather, the park may deem it necessary to cancel/reschedule this event. If this occurs, refunds will be offered to registered guests.
