Heritage Tours

Step into the past during a tour of Heritage Park. Take a lesson taught in the past tense in the historic one room school house or “shop” at the old general store. Walk the length of the Veterans Wall of Honor and stand and reflect at the POW/MIA Monument. Be moved by stories of heroism at the Veteran’s Historical Museum. See one of the few remaining sweater vests knitted by Mrs. Evelyn Terry Jones for the troops during World War II, a Model T Ford, and walk among the impressive collection of original uniforms and military paraphernalia from World War I to present.
