The Historical Veterans Museum is home to an impressive collection of original uniforms and military paraphernalia as well as military vehicles from World War I to present. Veteran tour guides offer visitors a look into the life of the soldiers who wore the uniforms and used the equipment on display. The museum is open Monday-Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and by appointment.

Nash Farm Battlefield Museum Tour

The date is 1864 and you are surrounded by the sounds of charging horses, whizzing bullets and battle cries during the largest cavalry raid in Georgia’s history at Nash Farm Battlefield. Visit the historic site of Kilpatrick’s Raid and view artifacts recovered from the grounds at the Nash Farm Battlefield Museum. Visit the ladies room depicting different styles of dress from the upper, middle and lower class and the children's room where children can actually try on period costumes. The museum is free and open for tours Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and by appointment.
