The 204-acre Nash Farm Battlefield was the site of the largest cavalry raid in Georgia’s history and a huge Confederate campsite. It is the only battlefield south of Kennesaw Mountain that remains meticulously preserved so that visitors can step back in time to the final days of the Atlanta Campaign. The Nash Farm Battlefield Museum, located on-site, introduces visitors to life at Nash Farm in the 1800s and to its historic role in the Civil War. Artifacts recovered from the battlefield are on display and tours are available by appointment. The museum is open Friday and Saturday 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. FREE.
