History & Heroes

The Historical Veterans Museum is home to an impressive collection of original uniforms and military paraphernalia as well as military vehicles from World War I to present. Veteran tour guides offer visitors a look into the life of the soldiers who wore the uniforms and used the equipment on display. The museum is open Monday-Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and by appointment. The musuem is located at:

Panola's Gray Rat Snake has been feeling left out because he doesn't have a name. Please help him by coming to the nature center Friday-Monday in January to submit your name for our snake.
